At the present time I’m a little limited by my setup and the technical capabilities of my guests, most of them using webcams as microphones. The disparity between my vocal volume and that of my guest was something I was acutely aware of when I first started the JOJCAST and at the time my efforts to compress the audio resulted in some pretty horrendous results. Since then I’ve taken a more relaxed approach, ensuring that there isn’t background music etc. that might compete for attention. I’ll be more mindful of this in future but at the present time I can’t make any promises.
